MATT Taylor’s anger at seeing his side surrender a narrow lead after bossing the fi rst half at Gresty Road was understandable.
As other sides have done already this term, Exeter came with a game plan to stifl e Crewe’s creative players. The likes of Charlie Kirk and Tommy Lowery have been key to the Railwaymen’s upward climb into second spot before the game.
