ONE of football’s oldest clichés goes that when a chance run in the team presents itself, grasp it with both hands – and that is exactly what Jamie Shackleton has done.
Heading into the weekend, the 19-year-old midfielder had starred in Leeds’ last two Championship fixtures, playing all 90 minutes in United’s win at Barnsley and draw against Derby, slotting in seamlessly for the injured Adam Forshaw.
