DYER PENS DEAL WITH BREWERS

LEAGUE ONE VETERAN winger Lloyd Dyer returned to Burton on a short-term deal this week as the club’s injury list shows little sign of abating. The 37-year-old, who left Bolton at the end of last season, has been training with the Brewers for the last month. Boss Nigel Clough is pleased to have Dyer at his disposal, and said: “With us being a bit short squad-wise with injuries starting to bite, Lloyd is just going to help out if we need him.
