PEOPLE may be shocked, but the arrest of Mason Bennett and Tom Lawrence for drink driving will be a source of amusement in the Derby dressing room.
That’s not to condone or justify what happened. It’s just my honest experience. As long as nobody has been killed or seriously injured, they’ll laugh about it. They’ll walk in the door and there’ll be jokes about the cost of insurance. When one of them pulls up in the car park, it’ll be ‘Oh, got a new car have you?’.
