DOGGED GIBSON MAKES HIS POINT

MIDDLESBROUGH chairman Steve Gibson has no chance of winning his impending legal battle with the EFL.
Gibson is set to sue the organisation over its failure to implement Financial Fair Play rules, an act which he argues cost Boro a play-off place last season.
His argument hinges on the actions of Derby owner Mel Morris, who used a separate company to buy the club’s Pride Park Stadium for £80m - despite it being listed on the club’s books as an asset worth £41m.
