HULL City have promised their full support to defender Angus MacDonald, who has been diagnosed with the early stages of bowel cancer.
The 26-year-old joined the Tigers from Barnsley in early 2018 and had previously played for Salisbury and Torquay. He has also been capped by England C.
MacDonald had only recently returned to full training having been sidelined for almost a year due to deep vein thrombosis.
