THE clock is ticking on Bury’s future in the EFL and it remains to be seen whether they will be able to sort out their mangled finances to avoid expulsion.
However, it does highlight once again the kind of problems that clubs can find themselves in if they overstretch their resources.
The Shakers aren’t the first club, and they won’t be the last, to get in a mess.
