MATT Mills was in danger of falling off football’s gruelling treadmill altogether.
Indeed, when your last two lengthy contracts have been at crisis clubs like Nottingham Forest and Bolton, few would blame Mills for needing a break.
The holiday he gave himself was a season in India’s ISL, marshalling the defence for Pune City.
