Pressley’s delight at impressive new boys

STAR MAN STEFAN SCOUGALL Carlisle

CARLISLE manager Steven Pressley’s pre-season overhaul paid early dividends with victory over Crawley, with the Cumbrians’ boss hailing “a fantastic result”.
Only three of the side that started were with Carlisle last season, and Pressley admitted:
“We were not at our most fluid, but there’s an incredible mentality in the team and they dug deep and showed a really good work ethic.”
Carlisle won thanks to first half goals by Harry McKirdy and Stefan Scougall.
In between, Bez Lubala grabbed a goal ...
