Parky’s praise for ones who turned up

PHIL Parkinson praised the hotchpotch of youngsters who took the field for crisis-hit Bolton Wanderers in their defeat at Wycombe.
Wages have been unpaid at the club since March and with all but three senior players refusing to travel, they announced two signings an hour before kickoff and named six debutants.
With a takeover by the Football Ventures consortium thought to be close, Parkinson can see light at the end of the tunnel and felt his makeshift side showed indomitable spirit.
