FLEETWOOD boss Joey Barton spoke of his delight after top scorer Paddy Madden extended his contract until the summer of 2022.
Striker Madden hit 19 goals in all competitions this season as Fleetwood finished 11th. The 29-year-old joined the Cod Army from Scunthorpe in January 2018.
Barton said: “Paddy is a key part of our team and culture and sets the tone in every match.
“His goals are an asset to the team, but his workrate and selflessness are, for me, what make him such a valuable member. “We’re delighted to have him with us for the next three seasons.&...
