SHAUN Derry will leave his role as Oxford United’s first-team coach after one season with the club “to explore new opportunities”.
The former Notts County and Cambridge manager insisted he had taken a lot from his time working under boss Karl Robinson and stressed there was nothing dramatic about his decision.
“It’s strange because I will be really sad to leave Oxford. Karl is an exceptional manager, but also a great person to work with,” he said.
