Marquis shines as Donny go for broke

GRANT McCann saluted the contribution of John Marquis after the prolific striker’s 24th goal of the season helped secure a vital point for Doncaster.
The result strengthens their bid to secure the final play-off place in League One.
And they might achieve that without playing in midweek when rivals Peterborough make the tough trip to Portsmouth.
McCann said: “I knew John would score. We trained at Cheltenham and each time we’ve done that before he’s scored.
