PAIR HAVE TALKS OVER CREWE STAY

CREWE manager Dave Artell has confirmed he is in contract talks with defender George Ray and striker Jordan Bowery. Ray, 25, and Bowery, 27, have both been regulars this season, but neither even made the bench for the 3-0 win over Notts County last week as Artell opted to run the rule over a number of players as part of his planning for the future.
“George and Jordan are out of contract and they understand that we are trying to look at other things,” said Artell.
