’Fantastic’ Exiles win delights boss Flynn

MICHAEL Flynn was fulsome in the praise of his Newport side after their win at Cambridge kept their play-off hopes alive.
The Exiles’ victory ensured they remained five points outside the top seven with a game in hand on the teams above them going into the final weeks of the campaign.
Padraig Amond headed them in front inside four minutes to set them on their way to victory, with Jamille Matt and Harry McKirdy also scoring, with ex-Cambridge man Robbie Willmott heavily involved in all three goals.
