MORECAMBE forward Liam Mandeville has backed boss Jim Bentley’s decision to drop him over the winter months.
Mandeville – on-loan from Doncaster – was a regular starter before Christmas, but has had to settle for a bench role of late. The 22-year-old accepts playing conditions have not suited his game, but hopes spring brings more starting opportunities.
