PULIS IS GROWING FOND OF FLETCHER

ASHLEY Fletcher is still “too nice a footballer”, but is developing quickly, according to his manager Tony Pulis.
The 23-year-old Middlesbrough striker was restored to the starting lineup and scored both goals in the 2-0 midweek win at Bolton to take his tally for the season to nine in all competitions.
Victory fired Boro back into the Championship play-off picture, and Pulis said: “You get criticised for not playing him on Saturday, but he is a young lad who is still growing into his body and needs time.
