Sad Bolton need change of fortune
IT CAN’T have been an easy week for Bolton Wanderers fans – and yesterday’s home defeat against rock-bottom Ipswich Town put the icing on the cake.
The players went on strike for 48 hours earlier in the week when staff were not paid their salaries on time for the second month in a row.
There was a High Court appearance in midweek in which the club were given more time to settle a £1.2m tax bill and then major doubts about whether yesterday’s game would go ahead.
