SHAKERS TO SETTLE THEIR DEBT

CHAIRMAN Steve Dale says Bury’s “historical debt” will be addressed before the Shakers face a High Court winding-up petition.
The club announced last Tuesday that they were experiencing “internal financial restrictions” following a takeover at Gigg Lane in December.
Those problems have led to Bury Football Club Company Limited being presented with a winding-up order, to be heard at the High Court on Wednesday.
But Shakers chairman Dale said in a statement: “This is a historical debt, and will be addressed before the winding-up date.”
