I’D LOVE TO SEE SCHOLES RETURN AS BOSS

DECISION: Paul Scholes

PAUL Scholes had only left as Oldham manager a couple of hours earlier and I was reading words attributed to Jose Mourinho having a go at his decision.
This comes on the back of ‘Scholesy’ being critical of the Manchester United performances during the Mourinho era, but let’s be honest – everyone was at that time.
Unlike Jose, I will not criticise Paul for taking a punt on Oldham, but I do find reason to question him. He grew up an Oldham supporter and the love and affinity for his boyhood club is obvious. But had he just taken on board some...
