KENNY Dougall is optimistic Barnsley can win promotion without him after a broken leg ruled him out for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old midfielder suffered the injury following a strong tackle against Doncaster on March 15, initially trying to run the problem off before leaving the field in the 18th minute.
Australian Dougall posted on Instagram: “Injuries are part of the game and unfortunately I’ve been hit with another tough pill to swallow.
