WHAT a complete mess it is at Oldham Athletic. I’ve always kept an eye on the club after I spent a short but enjoyable loan spell there as a 20-year-old.
Watching them in the early part of this season, I felt manager Frankie Bunn was beginning to get things right on the pitch. The way that he and fellow fans’ favourite Andy Rhodes, his assistant, were dismissed certainly left a bitter taste in the mouth of the supporters and I’m sure that the recent goings on won’t have surprised too many people at Boundary Park.
