SCUNTHORPE and Bristol City have agreed compensation for midfielder Hakeeb Adelakun.
The 22-year-old winger joined the Robins on a three-year deal in July, but the two clubs looked to be heading for a tribunal before an agreement was reached.
A Scunthorpe statement said: “We can announce that compensation has been agreed with Bristol City for Hakeeb Adelakun, avoiding the need to go to a tribunal.
“We would like to take the opportunity to place on record our thanks for Hakeeb’s efforts while with the club and wish him all the best for the future.”
