ON PAPER it looked as though high-flying Mansfield would sweep aside basement boys Notts County.
But football isn’t played on paper and the formbook goes flying out the window in big local derbies. A one-off poor performance shouldn’t dishearten Stags’ fans – David Flitcroft’s side have shown they are one of the best three sides in the division.
