SOLONG, Huw Jenkins. A local hero who put Swansea City on the map? Or a money-grabbing villain who sold the club’s soul?
As the 55-year-old departs after 17 years as chairman, his legacy - once so assured - has never looked more murky. When Ashley Williams lofted the League Cup in February 2013, guaranteeing a European adventure for the first time in 21 years, Jenkins could do no wrong.
He was the figurehead of a model club, the architect of a blueprint envied by everybody in the business. The Swansea Way was more than just pretty football....
