DAVID’S ARRIVAL BOOSTS COVENTRY

LOAN: David Stockdale

GOALKEEPER David Stockdale was due to make his Coventry debut against Rochdale yesterday after signing on a seven- day emergency loan.
The 33-year-old joined from Championship side Birmingham City, with Sky Blues keepers Lee Burge and Liam O’Brien both out injured.
Stockdale made 39 appearances for Birmingham last season but has not played for his parent club this term. Instead, the former Fulham and Brighton keeper has appeared in League One during emergency loan spells at Southend and Wycombe.
