INTERIM Luton Town manager Mick Harford felt his side produced a “top performance” to see off Southend and move to the summit of the League One standings.
Matty Pearson’s first-half header handed the Hatters victory at Roots Hall to extend their unbeaten run to 16 league games. And Harford felt Luton fully deserved the victory.
