JORDAN Roberts hopes to hit the ground running at Lincoln after signing on loan from Ipswich Town until the end of the season.
The former Crawley winger, 25, has managed just 12 Championship appearances at Town.
“Danny and Nicky (Cowley) wanted me here in the summer, but it didn’t come around,” said Roberts.
“I wanted to come to a club on the up and with a great fanbase and, from what I’ve heard, a very tight-knit group.
“Every player goes out there and sets themselves goals, but I just want to hit the ground running and take my chance.”
