RAFFERTY VOWS TO REPAY PRESTON

JOE Rafferty had no doubts in signing for Preston North End once their interest became known to him.
The 25-year-old defender signed a threeand- a-half-year deal at Deepdale after joining for an undisclosed fee from Rochdale.
And the former Liverpool academy player is excited about the prospect of playing in the Championship.
“Once I knew there was interest from Preston, I couldn’t wait to get the deal over the line; this is a massive club,” he said.
