TOWN LET LOFT LEAVE ON LOAN

SHREWSBURY manager Sam Ricketts has revealed the reasons behind Doug Loft’s loan departure.
Midfielder Loft, 32, will spend the remainder of the campaign with National League side Dagenham – a move much closer to where his family live.
Ricketts said: “Doug signed in the summer, it hasn’t quite worked out for him. His family have stayed down in the Colchester area.
“It was an ideal time for him to move back home.”
