IT’S JOY FOR JOAO AS GOAL EARNS AWARD

SHEFFIELD Wednesday striker Lucas Joao has scooped the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month award for December for his sizzling strike against Blackburn.
The 25-year-old Portuguese rifled home a spectacular 25-yard effort at Ewood Park.
Joao said: “Thank you to everyone that voted for me. I’m happy to have scored such a great goal, to help the team and to win this award for the club.
