CHECKATRADE TROPHY
THE EFL have turned down a request from Newcastle United for more tickets for their U21s’ Checkatrade Trophy third round tie at Sunderland on Tuesday night.
A bumper crowd will be expected at the Stadium of Light for the derby tussle, but there will be a maximum of 2,800 Newcastle fans in attendance.
