BURTON manager Nigel Clough said defender Reece Hutchinson is “growing in stature and confidence” after he handed the 18-year-old a new deal.
Hutchinson has featured regularly for the Brewers this season and has been rewarded with a new two-and-a-half-year contract.
Clough said: “Reece has been very good and it has been impressive the way he has adapted to the level.
“It’s sink or swim and he has done very well so far. He’s growing in stature and confidence. He’s not fully developed physically so far so there’s more of that to come....
