CREWE have suspended youth team coach Carl Everall due to a matter unconnected to the club. Everall is the club’s head of foundation and, in a statement, the club said: ‘Crewe can confirm that youth coach Carl Everall has been suspended.
‘The reason for this suspension relates to a safeguarding issue which is totally unconnected with his role at Crewe.
‘The club also reaffirm that, as soon as it was made aware of the issue, it was dealt with immediately and the relevant and appropriate procedures were followed.
