POSSIBLY providing a hint to his uncompromising defensive style, David Wheater says he would have ‘snapped your legs off’ to earn a start to the season as good as Bolton’s.
The statement is not too surprising given that Bolton were just minutes away from relegation back in May, with two late goals sealing a dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Nottingham Forest on the final day.
