CHAMPIONSHIP
SHEFFIELD Wednesday have signed Tottenham midfielder Josh Onomah on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old, who has made 32 appearances for Spurs, helped Aston Villa to the Championship play-off final during a loan spell last term.
“Sheffield Wednesday have completed the loan capture of Tottenham ace Josh Onomah,” said the club in a statement.
“The midfielder has joined the club until the end of the 2018/19 campaign.”
Onomah will be joined at Hillsborough by Chelsea centre-back Michael Hector, 26, after he also signed on a season-long loan on Friday.
