OLDHAM boss Frankie Bunn has urged defender George Edmundson not to “rest on his laurels” after being rewarded with a fresh two-year contract. The 21-year-old has progressed through the youth system at Boundary Park and has started in each of Oldham’s three matches this season.
“It’s a good reward for an up-and-coming player with potential, he’s been excellent since we’ve been here,” said Bunn.
