MICKY Mellon says Tranmere know what they are getting after securing the return of Cole Stockton on a oneyear contract.
The 24-year-old, who came through the ranks at Prenton Park and played 97 times between 2011 and 2017, has signed for Rovers following his release from Carlisle on Thursday.
Boss Mellon said: “We’re delighted to bring Cole back to the club. We were disappointed to lose him last year.
“The fans know all about him, he’s a powerful striker and he showed us that last time he was here.”
