OWNER Andrea Radrizzani believes Leeds fans backed his club’s controversial post-season tour to Myanmar.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side were beaten 2-1 by a Myanmar All-Star side on Wednesday but goals from Ryan Edmondson, 16, and Jay-Rot Grot saw them defeat the Myanmar national team 2-0 in Mandalay on Friday.
Leeds’ decision to travel to the south-east Asian country has been panned, with the UN having accused the country of ethnic cleansing. Radrizzani told the BBC: “I think the majority of Leeds United fans are supportive of the project.”
