TOO TOUGH TO CALL TOP SIX

Match Verdict

NO SHORTAGE of effort and commitment but a lack of quality meant this bloodand- thunder encounter ended goalless.
Penalty appeals, the woodwork rattled and a cracking atmosphere meant fans were on the edge of their seats but in the end, it was honours even and that was just about right.
Graham Carey, as so often, carried the greatest threat for Plymouth, who were handicapped by an injury to striker Ryan Taylor, as he attempted to shake of the shackles of well-organised Portsmouth. Predicting who’ll make the top six is too tough to call.
