THE versatile Alex Kenyon says this season has been the toughest mentally of his five-year spell at Morecambe.
The 25-year-old, who can play in defence or midfield, joined the Shrimps from Stockport County in the summer of 2013 and has played in more than 150 league games.
In that time, his role in the team has become more prominent as Morecambe have avoided relegation battles, even scoring a tophalf finish in 2014-15.
