SEANClare will play no further part in Sheffield Wednesday’s stop-start season after being ruled out with a severe ankle injury.
Clare, 21, had been drafted in by Jos Luhukay and impressed with five gutsy midfield displays.
He may need surgery on the injury, picked up in the 1-1 draw with Bolton, though Sam Hutchinson and Barry Bannan have returned to fitness.
