ROVERS SLIP INTO TOP SPOT

WHILE Wigan were on FA Cup duty, promotion rivals Blackburn took the chance to go top of the table last Monday night.
Second-half goals from Danny Graham and Newcastle loanee Adam Ar mstrong earned Rovers a 2-0 derby win over Bury.
Title rivals Shrewsbury had the chance to re gain top spot the following night, but were thwarted by visitors Gillingham. It looked as though Abu Ogogo’s 14thminute goal was going to prove decisive.
However, Mark Byrne equalised for the Gills eight minutes from time.
Jamal Lowe and Oliver Hawkins netted for Portsmouth as they won 2-1 at managerle...
