IPSWICH boss Mick McCarthy doesn’t believe his side’s victory over Preston at Deepdale brings them back into play-off contention but says they won’t give up hope.
Mustapha Carayol struck the only goal on his first start for the club since his January move from Nottingham Forest to end Ipswich’s winless run at three matches and move them to within six points of the play-off places.
