NIGEL Adkins hailed the professionalism of his Hull players after they ground out a victory over play-off chasers Sheffield United despite fan protests marring proceedings under the Friday night lights at the KCOM Stadium.
Nouha Dicko’s smart finish ten minutes into the second half was the difference between the sides as the hosts sealed three precious points against the below-par Blades to put further distance between themselves and the drop zone.
