U’S KEEN TO KEEP KEEPER WALKER

COLCHESTER boss John McGreal hopes to keep inform keeper Sam Walker beyond the end of the season.
The 26-year-old Chelsea academy product made his debut for the U’s during the first of two loan spells in 2013, before he signed a permanent contract in January 2014
He is out of contract in the summer but McGreal hopes a new deal can be agreed.
He said: “Sam had his injury (a cruciate knee ligament injury picked up in August 2015) but then came back and played every league game last year.
