These days, nobody revels in putting one past a former employer. Goals are greeted by a rueful grimace, palms raised in supplication.
What a sham. If John Terry scores against Chelsea, a muted reaction is understandable. Mostly, however, a show of ‘respect’ is merely a token gesture to try to curry favour on social media.
So, fair play to Morison, an old-fashioned centreforward who has never hidden his disdain for diplomacy.
