PAUL Heckingbottom and Nigel Clough have both refused to rule themselves out of the contest to become the next Nottingham Forest manager.
While Aitor Karanka is currently the bookies’ favourite to replace the recently-sacked Mark Warburton, Barnsley boss Heckingbottom has been strongly linked to the role. And Heckingbottom has chosen to put the ball into the court of the Barnsley owners before he has to make a decision on a potential move down the M1.
