SHAY Facey might have joined Northampton from runaway Premier League leaders Man City, but the defender is not expecting to breeze straight into the Cobblers’ starting XI. The 22-year-old defender was with City for 11 years but never made a first-team appearance.
But, after loan spells in the MLS and the Eredivisie, Facey is hoping to impress his new manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. “He has made it clear I have to get my head down, work hard, and win my place in the team”; said Facey.
