NOEL Hunt won’t be resting on his laurels during the festive period, despite Wigan sitting top of the League One pile at Christmas.
The 34-year-old Irish striker had made only nine appearances this season before the weekend but wants the whole squad to maintain their focus.
“We’re top at the moment, but I’m not going to tempt fate,” said Hunt. “I’ve been in this position before and you’ve just got to keep going because everything can change in a week in football.”
